Atheism

…what?

Yeah, everyone knows that oft-quoted passage of the Bible that says God has to do what you fucking want, including presenting you with women. Santa!God.

Well I’ve prayed plenty but I haven’t received my complementary human female specimen either. Wtf. Imma cancel my subscription if that doesn’t change soon.

& I mean maybe if he didn’t act like friend, she’d get the hint.

Oh wait, I’m doing it wrong

Obvious ridiculousness aside.

I just wanna say…

I mean like I understand that God can work miracles and shit. But I mean damn…

bury me a g

I’m gonna cry

You know, maybe he should’ve prayed for a new personality. I mean, I don’t think god would send someone to hell on earth just so he could get a girlfriend.

Shanty town torn down by Spanish authorities

A handful of shacks were torn down Tuesday morning under the orders of Madrid’s town planning board, who considers them to be illegal dwellings. Several hundred Roma people live in precarious conditions, without running water or sewage services, in “El Gallinero”, just 15 km away from Madrid’s centre. The inhabitants live in ramshackle huts made out of cardboard and zinc in an area prone to flooding.

THEY ARE STILL MAJESTIC. IF THIS APPLIES TO YOU THEN YOU ARE STILL FUCKING MAJESTIC. YOU ARE NOT DEFINED BY WHAT YOU ARE OR ARE NOT ABLE TO DO.

neutrois:

CeCe McDonald’s case not only represents a tragic miscarriage of justice, but also speaks to the fundamental unfairness of the criminal justice system for the Black trans community.

Maybe someday it’ll change for the better, until then… keep spreading the love for CeCe, raise awareness and make some noise

Despite considerable evidence -including medical evidence, toxicology reports, eyewitness accounts, and unrefuted testimony- McDonald’s self-defense claim was dismissed by prosecutors.

Seriously? They called Gypsy Rose Lee racist because of her name.

Actually, “Gypsy Rose Lee” is racist. She ran with a stereotype — burlesque and striptease — and made herself famous. “Gypsy” is a racial and ethnic slur and the title of the whole musical is…

No she did not run with a stereotype. If anything the went against the stereotype, the biggest reason Gypsy Rose Lee became famous was that her act was very funny, witty and smart. While actually revealing less than other stripers of her day, emphasising the “tease” in striptease. She was considered extremely classy.

Point. Missed.

“Classy” or not, she was a stripper and a tease.

Stereotype achieved.

Yes, just keep telling us how to react to racism, oh parni beng. We just love it. Sorry, but the musical is racist and the stripper was racist for banking on stereotypes of another race. Nice try, though.

I swear to god…

Just because she made it “classy” doesn’t change the fact it’s harmful, and that only added to the “g*psy whore” stereotype that causes sexual and physical assaults.

This is not hard to understand, OP. Please understand that media, be it stage shows, or tv, or movies, DO NOT EXIST IN A VACUUM and have REAL LIFE IMPACT AND CONSEQUENCES.
